What is the International Undergraduate Work-Study Program?

The international undergraduate work/study program is designed to provide on-campus work experience for full-time students who require assistance in covering their education-related costs.

If you require assistance to cover your education-related expenses, and you meet the following eligibility requirements, you may apply to the international undergraduate work/study program:

How much can you earn?

Work/study jobs at the University of Waterloo typically pay either $9.50, $10, or $11 per hour. The maximum number of hours is 10 hours per week, with maximum earnings of $1,500 per 4-month term, including vacation pay and benefits.

How to Apply for International Work-Study Positions

International work study positions are posted on the bulletin board outside the Student Awards and Financial Aid Office, 2nd floor, Needles Hall. To apply for a position, please complete an application form and submit it to the Student Awards and Financial Aid Office, 2nd floor, Needles Hall.
